I made a replacement push button for Tag Chrono.
I just recently made a replacement push button for Tag Heuer Chronograph because this part is hard-to-find and the key to these successful job is my two lathe machines, the watchmakers lathe and my mini lathe. The material that I prefered to use is a stainless crown seen in picture and made a special cutter to cut the inside of the crown that will make it fit the Tag case tube. I also made a special attachment so that my small collets could be used with my mini lathe. A perfect idea that without this tools I could have not done this difficult repair.
In this last two pictures, can you tell which one is the replacement that I made?
