After Working on Giant Clocks...let's now work on small wrist watches.
I don't know how many watch technicians attempted to solve the problem before that Php1.7m worth of high end watch reached me. The problem is: the original defective cannon pinion got lost trying several technicians to find a replacement. They even tried to replaced the entire part with other caliber number but of course it will not fit. What we did through the help of the internet me and my son Alvin managed to find the right number of teeth and the dimension. As you can see the home made cannon pinion is already mounted in the movement. While the attempted replacement can be seen on the right side of the pictures with wrong number of teeth and an error of its dimension. The work is a success and the owner is very happy. Here is the video of its free wheeling test and when the dial was assembled with all the hands installed.
